Winter Sports

Manali has become a major destination for wintersports. It is ideal for high altitude skiing and snowboarding,
a heli-ski service is also available during the winter months. Many hotels and guesthouses are open during
the winter, often with central heated rooms. During the winter we also provide ski courses.

Snuggled in the midst of masses of dense woods facing the Pir Panjal Range of Western Himalayas and
the magic tranquility in the heart of Solang valley, the most spectacular landscape in Manali, offering
the natural ski slope lies the Solang Ski Area.

Solang's outstanding snow and choice of terrain are two reason why riders and skiers from around India and
especially western travelers come to Solang (Manali).

Another is the North Face Ski School with Jagdish Lal, Indian national ski coach. He is supported by a highly
